Remembering Joshua

A fitting Tribute for remembering Josh has been commissioned today, and VWCR are proud to be asked to construct a Memorial bench in his honour. VWCR offer our deepest sympathies to all of his family and friends during this difficult period.

Joshua, a “shining light of love”, died at the scene after being hit by a car on Somerset Close, Catterick Garrison.

The local community and football club of which Joshua was a popular member of, have already raised more than £16,000 to support his heartbroken family.

Joshua was a Year 3 pupil at Cambrai Primary School, in Catterick.

Joshua’s headteacher, Mark Dent, said: “Joshua was a shining light of love, friendship and fun within our school family.

“We are heartbroken to know that we will never see his smile, or hear his giggles again, but our memories of him will never fade.

“Our school community will come together during this sad time to support each other, his family and friends. He will always be part of Cambrai.”

A fundraiser has been set up for Joshua’s family, with more than 900 donations pouring in in the last 24 hours.
